SOFTOMETER KWS for measuring the softness of leather, textiles, nonwovens, artificial leather and foils, cardboard, paper and other flexible materials in quality testing and for scientific series tests in research and development.
Since various properties of a material are responsible for softness, a measurement method was found that indicates the material properties that make up softness. The decisive factor is the test of bending stiffness.
There are three versions to choose from:

Measuring range 0 - 500 mN, resolution 0.5 mN
SOFTOMETER KWS 2000
Measuring range 0 - 2000 mN, resolution 1 mN
SOFTOMETER KWS-20K
Measuring range 0 - 20000 mN, resolution 10 mN
