Short description
Ink abrasion tester for determining the abrasion resistance of ink and contamination characteristics on various substrates (paper, cardboard, ceramics, etc.).
The test consists of rubbing a sample against a defined weight at different speeds. After completion of the test, the results are recorded visually.
The plant contains four different speeds:
- 21 runs/minute. Half speed of the old
Ink abrasion tester. This speed allows
the wet tests and tests under 5 runs. - 42 runs/minute and 85 runs/minute. The
same speeds in the old ink abrasion tester. - 106 runs/minute. Fast speed.
The new speed features allow users to adapt the test processes to their own products.
The highest speed reduces the test times required for some substrate types (plastic, UV coatings, printed films, etc.).
The equipment includes a control panel from which the test speeds and runs can be controlled.
In addition, the system can be supplied with heating weights (2 lb and 4 lb) that have a working temperature of up to 200° C. This option is useful when you need a faster testing process (for high resistance inks and varnishes).
