The user can select a test on the touchscreen to run. The clamps automatically move into position. Now the specimen support is between the two clamps where the specimen is placed. The specimen is automatically detected and the clamps close. According to the previously determined test setting, the specimen is either irrigated, pulled out of the water and then stretched until it breaks or it is stretched immediately. The figures, curves, statistics with the maximum, minimum, average as well as the standard deviations are displayed on the touch screen and can be printed. The clamps open automatically after the test and return to their original position.
The software includes pre-installed tests as described in the standards. Company-specific tests can also be set. All parameters such as test speed, test length, break and preload level can be set individually. The software can be switched to different languages.
